REBEL ALLIANCE PART 4: A MEW HOPE – DOUBLE TICKET GIVEAWAY
It’s nearly time for the first Rebel Alliance of 2012! Joburg’s only music & moving image mash-up event returns on Saturday the 28th of January at the Bioscope Theater. Rebel Alliance Part 4 “A Mew Hope” marks a celebration of all things sci-fi and spacey, run through distinctly South African filter. This month’s rebels include: Eyes Like Mirrors, Spacelings, Jaysynth and a screening of director Neil Blomklamp’s Alive in Joburg short-film!

FOTO NA DANS ANNOUNCE BREAK-UP AND LAST SHOWS
Foto Na Dans have announced that they are calling it quits and announced the dates for the final shows, ending off their career at the Kirstenbosch Gardens on the 5th of February with Flash Republic.
The band released this statement on their facebook page:
After 5 years together, 4 album releases, numerous awards and hundreds of shows the last photo of the final dance is here. Foto Na Dans will be playing our last 3 shows at the beginning of February and after that Foto Na Dans will unfortunately be taking an indefinite hiatus.
Foto Na Dans has been very close to our hearts the past 5 years and it has been a massive part of our lives, but unfortunately the time has come to move. Our love of music will see that not one of us will cease to make music, and what could be seen as the end of one chapter, should also be seen as the beginning of another, more beautiful chapter in each of our musical journeys. Our final show will be on 5 February at Kirstenbosch gardens with Flash Republic.
Thank you to everyone that supported us over the past 5 years. You are all wonderful and we love all of you.
