MOSES TAKES DURBAN INVITATIONAL
on July 9, 2009

Moses quenching his thirst after a long sucessful day at work.
Thanks to all the sponsors and skaters that took part and attended the Durban Invitational this last weekend. Over 60 invitee’s took part in the contest and there were a lot of lesser known names that rose through the ranks.
Wild card riders Khule Nia and Robert Bambo were charging over the 3 days. Dlamini Dalmin was also on fire and there should be a web edit of the contest should be up by early next week.

Moses - buttery tre flips all day....
At the end of a full days skating on the Friday the top 5 AM’s made it through to the next round with the PRO’s. The top 5 being Kanya Spani, Mitchell Rice, Khule Nia, Robert Bamo and Dlamini Dlamini.

Mitchell with a Frontside Salad Grind
The first round of the Pros was full of misfortune with Lloyd taking a bad slam and overextending his already injured knee and Braxton breaking his finger’s and unable to compete in the finals.. Luckily there were no other injuries in the qualifiers. The judging is always tough in a jam session but the top 8 for the day were Lloyd Houdoul, Moses Adams , Yann Hurwitz, Simon Stipcich, Damini Dlamini, Mitchell Rice, Alan Marola and Robert Bambo.
At the end of the day Moses put down a killer first run to take first followed by Robert Bambo, both with a bag full of tricks around the whole park. Alan came in 3rd with Simon 4th and Mitchell 5th. Simon took best trick with a nollie inward heels front board down the handrail.

Simon Stipcich - Flip Front Board
Looking forward to next year with some new obstacles and bigger loot.
