FLASH SKATE MOB! GO SKATE DAY
Celebrate Go Skateboarding Day, FLASH MOB style!
Tomorrow, at 2pm sharp, Damd Productions are hosting a Flash Skate Mob starting at the Museum Gardens in Cape Town, skating through St Georges Mall, and ending at Thibault Square.
Grab a board, get all your friends, tell your boss it’s more important than Christmas and join the festivities. It won’t take more than an hour, and the you’ll be “raising the awe-ness” of skateboarding in CPT.
Don’t forget to swing by the Revolution store later in the evening for the KFD Good Times Party. Free beer!!

REVOLUTION PAVILLION GO SKATEBOARDING DAY PHOTOS
Half Price Sessions and discounts off ALL skate goods set the scene for a day of stoke and
a hella lot of what the day is all about… SKATEBOARDING. These sort of “official” unofficial days bring such a vibe to the park and the skate scene in general (Why is this only one day a year?). It’s so rad to see how many new skaters were coming out the cracks (This may have been just from the Red Bull Promo Girls!).
We kicked off with the events at 11am sharp with a local favorite game of S.K.A.T.E Rho Sham Bo’s down Grant Edwards walked away with the goods. 12pm Kicked off the RED BULL manual contest getting underway saw the local big guns coming out with Dlamini Dlamini, Khule Nia and GVB making an appearance. After a 30 minute jam some insane tech tricks went down. Finally GVB walked away with a case of RED BULL for his Heel flip Manuel Front Side Blunt.

The KFD team (Moses Adams, JP du Preez, Mitchell Rice and Justus Kotzé) are gonna be down at the My Culture Go Skateboarding day comp this Saturday (26 June)! They’re also going to be down at Revolution skatepark at Festival Mall this Sunday (27 June)! Then they’re all hitting the long road home, so make sure you get down there and join them for a skate!
