INTERVIEW WITH YUSHI TAKEI
The Cape Town Tattoo Convention is only one week away and tons of tattoo artists from all over the world have be arriving on our shores, one of them being Yushi Takei of Black and Gold Tattoo. Originally from Japan but currently residing in Amsterdam, we met up with Yushi Takei to talk about his travels, life as a tattoo artist and his time in South Africa.

Body of Work is an exhibition of customised hands and tattoo-inspired artwork by numerous South African artists. The exhibition will be launching on Tuesday 25 January at the A Word of Art Gallery at the Woodstock Industrial Centre in Cape Town.

A shit ton of tattooing went down this weekend at the Southern Ink Xposure in Cape Town. The Cape Town Convention centre was rammed and hanging out with so many phenomenal international artists and watching so much work was fun and inspiring.

KILLER AT CAPE TOWN TATTOO CONVENTION
Don’t forget the Southern Ink Xposure Tattoo Convention starts in Cape Town tomorrow. It’s going to be a crazy weekend of tattoos, art and rock ‘n roll.
